Pocola punches state ticket

POCOLA – It was far from easy, but Pocola’s girls are making a return trip to the Class 3A state slow pitch softball tournament after winning the consolation championship Wednesday.

The Lady Indians opened with a 15-1 rout of Gore, lost 3-2 to Wayne in extra innings before finally putting away Hartshorne, 13-5 to clinch the state trip.
