Is there anything new that can be said about Easter this year?
Well, no, not really. There are mostly the same stagnant old facts that perhaps serve to satisfy casual interest in the holiday. For instance, 1.9 billion dollars’ worth of candy is expected to be sold for Easter this year, and 70 percent of that candy will be chocolate; ears generally are the first thing eaten off those chocolate Easter bunnies; Easter is the second most candied holiday, next to Halloween.
Among other holiday fashion trends, matte nail polish is apparently favored by the ladies this Easter season. Who would have known?
