Local golfers take top spots in tournament

STIGLER – Poteau’s Connor Whitworth and Heavener’s Jeren Pickle took the top two spots in the Stigler High School golf tournament Thursday.

Whitworth shot a 75 to win the tournament while Pickle, who finished fourth earlier in the week at the Roland Tournament, shot an 80.
