Obituary for Harrell Turner

Harrell Dean Turner, 85, of Summerfield was born May 24, 1936 in Lone Pine to Luther and Bertha (Pickle) Turner and went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2021 in Summerfield.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Harrell was a longtime resident of the area. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Harrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Harrell was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Mollie Turner, of the home; three daughters Debbie Turner of White Settlement, Texas, Renona Crowden and husband Pete of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Tikeyta Lynn Anderson and husband Bob of Checotah; one son Brett Turner and wife Lisa of Loon Lake, Washington; one uncle, J.C. Pickle, of Sun City, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and a host of many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Bertha (Pickle) Turner; one son, Marty Joe Turner; and one sister, Clara Hollan.
