Among the many meetings and events that happen throughout the months legislators aren’t in session are interim studies. These are studies that allow Senate and House members to take an in-depth look at issues that impact their constituents and districts.

The Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat approved 71 interim studies that will be conducted over the next few months and into this fall. One of those was mine, which will take a look at the expansion of energy resources across southeastern Oklahoma.
