In the last 62 years, Clem and I have stayed in hundreds of motels—some pretty good, some not so much.
We’ve been thankful for all the places we’ve been blessed to go and the things we’ve seen on the way. But since the bedbug scare a few years ago and then COVID-19, we basically haven’t been anywhere. When we used to visit Clem’s sister, Leida, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, we always enjoyed staying in the Riverview Motel because we could watch beautiful Spring River out the patio door in the back, and we even enjoyed the trains that ran on the tracks just behind the motel.
