Hooper graduates from academy

POTEAU – Poteau Police Detective Sgt. Billy Hooper graduated on Monday from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation 17th Agents Academy.
Hooper said the eight-week course was intensive and challenging, but a “great opportunity” which gave him “more tools in my tool bag to go out and help people.”
Hooper also is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, and is only the fourth member of the Poteau PD ever to do so.
