John Edward Doyle, Sr., 56, of Monroe, was born June 23, 1964 in Poteau to Charles Rayford and Thelma Marie (Stacy) Doyle and passed away June 19, 2021 in Monroe.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Springhill Cemetery in Monroe, with Brother David Anderson and T.J. Huett officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
John was a longtime resident of the area and a truck driver. He enjoyed driving trucks and taking care of his farm. He loved his dog, Sadie, going to PJ’s, spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He also loved to go the sale barn especially to find a bargain. John was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, papa, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom loved and knew him.
He is survived by four daughters Shirley Doyle, Ronda and Jose Nicolas, Phyllis and Brandon Wann and JoeLynn Doyle; sons John Doyle, Jr. and Cameron Kerns; seven grandchildren: Keira, Kyler, Mason, Kacee Jo, Kobe, Mallorie and Marshall; his mother, Thelma Doyle, of Bonanza, Arkansas; one sister, Diana Box, of Hackett, Arkansas; one brother, Gary Doyle, of Bonanza, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velinda Doyle; one brother, Steve Doyle; and his father, Charles Rayford Doyle.
Pallbearers are David Box, Steve Dorsey, Jack Frost, Boog Frost, Garry Dorsey, and T.J. Huett.
Viewing is from 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. The family will have visitation with friends Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
