An auto accident Friday claimed the lives of five Arkansas residents Friday.
The accident occurred at 11:17 a.m. on Hwy 112, approximately two miles south of Cameron.
Charles L. Drushal, 76 of Fort Smith, Arkansas was driving a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee north when he crossed over the center marker and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse head -on.
Both Drushal and the juvenile driving the Traverse were pronounced dead at the scene.
Passengers in the Grand Cherokee 53-year-old Jill Drushal of Fort Smith and a 15-year-old were also pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger in the traverses, Aaron m. Gamble, 42, of Fort Smith was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Wes Odom #570 of the LeFlore County detachment of Troop D.
