WISTER – Wister wrapped up a Class A regional baseball championship Saturday with an 11-1 win over Crowder.
Wister (26-4) will play in the state tournament Thursday at Shawnee High School at a time and against an opponent to be determined.
Trey Krebbs threw a one-hitter for the Wildcats and gave up the one run with three strikeouts.
Will Hammons doubled and was 2-3 with two RBI, Isaac Carroll went 2-3 with three runs, Landon Thornburg hit a grand slam while going 1-3 with four RBI and a run and Tucker Wooten tripledin a 1-3 outing with a run and a RBI.
