Obituary for Donna LaRosa

MONROE – Donna Gay LaRosa, 62, of Monroe passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home and was born June 23, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to John and Wanda (Mitchell) Barnes.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Poteau with Jim Perkin officiating.  Interment will follow at Monroe Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, Rocco LaRosa; children Jon and Beth LaRosa, and Jon and Mandy Mitchell; grandchildren Mason Mitchell, Ashton Bailey, Eben LaRosa, Caden and Chloe Mitchell; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Danna Barnes; and a son, Shawn Griffith Cox.

Pallbearers are Ashton Bailey, Jason Bowles, Tyler Barnes, Mason Mitchell, Trevor Barnes, Tim Bowles and Jerrod Wood.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
