POTEAU – An agreement for an updated hazard mitigation plan was approved Monday by LeFlore County Commissioners.
Meshek and Associates will develop the plan, which will take eight to 10 months, according to Emergency Management Director Dennis Yochum. Once finished, the plan will have to be approved by the Federal Emergency Management Authority.
Most or all of the cost will be reimbursed by FEMA grants, Yochum said.
