SHADY POINT – Jack D. Pace, 71, of Shady Point was born March 14, 1950 in Bonham, Texas to Floyd Elbert and Beatrice Rogenia (Story) Pace and passed away March 15, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Reichert Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Jack was a long-time resident of the area. He was self-employed as a carpenter. Jack loved fishing, hunting, visiting with people, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Surviving family members are two sons Patric Brown and wife Beatrice of Shady Point, and Josh Wagnon and wife Trish Wana Finucane of Oklahoma City; two sisters Betty Crumby of Denison, Texas and Marion Copus of Bakersfield, California; three grandchildren Avianna Brown of Shady Point, Brynden McEwen of Oklahoma City, and Shelby Wagnon of Oklahoma City; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Brenda Pace.
Pallbearers are Steve Rutherford, Travis Lewallen, Josh Wagnon, Phillip C. Lewallen, Phillip W. Lewallen and John Pulice.
Viewing is from noon until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
