Howe about another one


OKLAHOMA CITY – It has taken Howe’s girls two years to defend their Class 2A state tournament after last year’s event was wiped out by the pandemic.

The Lady Lions successfully defended their title Saturday afternoon in the Fairgrounds Arena with a 71-57 win over Silo in the championship game.

Howe’s boys were shooting for a combination title, but the Lions came up short against Oklahoma Union, losing 64-54 after defeating the No. 1 and No. 3-ranked teams the previous two days.
