Good morning and welcome to the Ledger/LCJ morning blog. As you can plainly see above and probably doesn’t need repeated, but I will anyway, I’m Craig Hall with the Ledger and LeFlore County Journal.

As mentioned earlier, we have additional news about Central National Bank. It was announced yesterday CNB has been purchased by First Bank Corp out of Fort Smith.

LeFlore County had 12 new coronavirus cases in Thursday’s report by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Heavener had lead the county.

In sports, it was a busy day Thursday. Both Howe teams won their opening games in the Class 2A state tournament and play in the semifinals Friday.

It doesn’t look like it’s going to be a Chamber of Commerce weather day. Mostly cloudy skies and rain is likely. The high will be 74 with a low of 62. I can see the grass growing higher as I sit

Arvilla Stewart, 90, of Howe was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Claremore and passed away March 10 in Howe.

Graveside service is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Blanco Cemetery.
