LeFlore County had 20 new coronavirus cases in Saturday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health.
Poteau had seven new cases, Spiro five, Pocola three, Heavener two, while Arkoma, Shady Point and Wister each had one.
Active cases are 128, up 12 from Friday.
It was a good night for LeFlore County basketball teams Saturday night.
The Pocola girls and Howe boys were both playing for Class 2A area consolation championships and trips to the state tournament and got the wins, both bouncing back from losses the previous night.
There will be walks at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., led by archaeologist and manager Dennis Peterson.
LeFlore County’s nice weather continues Sunday.
There will be clear skies along with a high of 68 degrees and a low of 40 degrees.
A benefit spaghetti dinner and auction will be held for Callie Youngblood Sunday from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wister School cafeteria.
