Poteau snaps skid with win at Heavener

Poteau snapped a two-game losing streak in baseball with an 11-2 win at Heavener Friday on a cool and wet day.

The Pirates (2-2) jumped ahead 3-0 in the first inning and cruised to the win to drop Heavener to 1-1.

Poteau hosts Idabel and Hugo is at Heavener Monday.
