For the first time in 10 days, temperatures are forecast to climb above freezing in LeFlore County.
The high is expected to be 33 degrees with a low of 8. If correct, this will be the first time since Feb. 8 when the high for the day was 42, that the day’s high broke the freezing mark.
The 8 degrees would set a new record low for the date, easily eclipsing the previous record of 13 degrees in 1978.
Partly cloudy skies for Thursday with the temperatures expected to climb over the next few days.
