Howe’s Shiloh Fletcher and Brayden Oglesby were named the most valuable players in the 89th annual LeFlore County Tournament, which ended Saturday with a sweep by the Lady Lions and Lions.
Fletcher is joined on the all-tournament squad by teammates Ralyn Delf and Makayla Twyman. Other selections were Mika Scott, Emma Damato and Kylee Smith of Pocola; Brooke McCormick of Cameron; Hailey Weaver of Poteau; Hannah Abeyta of Whitesboro; and Morgan Smith of Heavener.
For the boys, Eduardo Sanchez joined Oglesby on the team. Runner-up Whitesboro had Bryce Tackett and Jagger Phillips. Other selections were Reed Richison of Pocola; Kalobe Hudlow of LeFlore; Jagger Dill of Poteau; Braden Riggs of Spiro; and Matt Holzhammer of Wister.
Kate Hammons of Wister won the Dennis Hemphill hustle award and Zayn Coggins was selected as the recipient of the Billy Brake hustle award. The Panama girls and Heavener boys were given sportsmanship honors.
