Top seeds win opening games in LCT

Day One of the 89th annual LeFlore County Tournament is in the books with the higher-seeded team winning every game.

After sitting out Monday with byes, the top three seeds in both divisions open play Tuesday on their home courts.

Girls after Monday

Boys after Monday

All the girls’ games are at 4 aside from Spiro at Pocola. In the other games #8 Wister visits top-seeded Howe; #5 LeFlore plays #4 Whitesboro at Talihina; #6 Poteau is at #5 Heavener; and Spiro is at Pocola in a 5 p.m. game.

The lone consolation game has #12 Arkoma hosting #13 Bokoshe, also at 4 p.m.

The boys all play at 7. Top-seeded Howe hosts #8 Wister; #5 Poteau visits #4 Spiro; #3 Whitesboro visits #6 Talihina; and #7 LeFlore travels to take on second-seeded Panama.

The consolation game has Bokoshe playing Cameron. The game will likely be played at Carl Albert State College. If the location changes, it will be updated.
