LeFlore County had 53 new coronavirus cases in Thursday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health along with the death from complications due to the virus of a Shady Point man in the 65-and-over age group.
Poteau had 13 new cases, Talihina nine, Spiro eight, Cameron seven, Howe and Pocola five, Wister three, while Bokoshe, Heavener and Shady Point each had one.
The county now has 474 cases, up from 458 Wednesday. Overall, LeFlore County has had 3,908 cases, 3,403 recoveries and 31 deaths from complications due to the virus.
