Jimmy Dewayne Hines, 54, of the Reichert community was born April 10, 1966 in Poteau to Jimmy Glenn and Virginia (Bingham) Hines and passed away Jan. 3, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Family memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Jimmy was a graduate of Leflore High School and was a Panel operator for OK Foods for over 18 years. Jimmy and his best friend Bryan Hollen enjoyed many hours of rabbit hunting and attending field trials at numerous places, winning multiple awards. They also operated H & H Honey Dew Beagles. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Hollan, of the Reichert community; two daughters Sarah Bender and husband Jimmy of Reichert, and Kevyn Mudd and husband Travis of Holdenville; his mother, Ginger Hines, of LeFlore; his mother-in-law, Claudette Hamner, of Reichert; one sister, Debbie Morrill, of Warner Robins, Georgia; one niece Whitney Wellman and husband Robin of Warner Robins, Georgia; one nephew, Dillon Hines, of Warner Robins, Georgia; seven grandchildren Terrah, Ryder, Maeble, R.J., Emmyett, Lyric and Fyndlee; several other loved ones and host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Glenn Hines; one son, Jacob Hollan; and one grandson, Tuff.
