WISTER – Bobbie Jean Singleterry, of Wister, was born in 1929, on the 10th of August, and passed away at 12 a.m., January 4, 2021.
Bobbie was superintendent’s secretary for LeFlore High School for 28 years. She was a member of Summerfield Baptist Church for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Doc Singleterry; father, Jack Adams; mother, Pearl Adams; sister, Mackie Campbell & Wanda Griffin; brother, JC Adams; and granddaughter, Shayna Kirkland.
Survivors include two sons Kevin and wife Pat Singleterry, and Kelly and wife Marenda Singleterry; six grandchildren Nathan Singleterry and wife Shelly, Garrett Singleterry and wife Audra, Abree, Joshua, Seth and Cayden Singleterry, seven great grandchildren Tyler, Shae, Easton, Kaison Singleterry, Kearson Collins and husband Trever, Kristian Duncan, Rowan Mae Singleterry, and one great great grandchild; Emma Jean Collins.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Summerfield Cemetery with Rev. Charles Caughern officiating. Pallbearers include Nathan, Tyler, Joshua, Seth, Garrett and Cayden Singleterry.
