63 new coronavirus cases reported Wednesday

LeFlore County had 63 new cases in Wednesday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health.

There were 62 deaths from complications due to the virus, including a Poteau woman in the 65-and-over group.


Poteau had 21 new cases, Wister 12, Heavener seven, Spiro six, Cameron four, Talihina three, Bokoshe, Howe, Pocola and Shady Point all had two, while Arkoma and Panama each had one.

The county has now had 3,855 cases, 3,367 recoveries and 30 deaths from complications due to the virus.

LeFlore County has had 751 new cases over the last week.
