A 26-year-old Sallisaw woman was injured in a one-car accident Friday at 1:03 a.m. on Horse Ranch Road, approximately three miles west of Wister.
Alisa Martindale was driving a 2007 Infiniti south and departed the road to the right, then struck a pipe fence. She was pinned in the vehicle over approximately 90 minutes before she was extricated by the Wister Fire Department using Hurst Equipment.
She was transported by Mercy Life Flight to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and trunk external injuries. She was admitted in critical condition.
