SHADY POINT – Edwin “Ed” Randolph Brown, 63, of Shady Point was born Oct. 27, 1957 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Arlen Wayde and Vivian Jo (Thompson) Brown and passed away Nov. 26, 2020 in Heavener.
Funeral services are 3 p.m., Tuesday at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Ed was a senior manager for Ron’s Lumber and Home Center in Howe. He enjoyed collecting guns, watching movies, riding his ATV, mowing his grass, smoking cigars, and spending time with his family and friends. Ed was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ed was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the United States Army.

Surviving family members are his wife, Sue Brown, of the home; two daughters Tiffany Hurt and husband Michael of Okmulgee, and Bridgette Brown from Greenwood, South Carolina; his parents Vivian “Jo” Owen of Houston, Texas and Arlen Brown of Oklahoma; two sisters Colette Brown of Katy, Texas and Lisa Brown of Houston, Texas; one brother, Mark Brown, of Houston, Texas; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Daisy King and husband William of Barbados; two sisters-in-law Donna Anders and husband Dave of Hurst, Texas, and Patricia Kirton of Barbados; one brother-in-law Mark King and wife Magda of Barbados; four grandchildren Treyton Hurt, Alyssa, Ashleigh and Jaxton; four nieces Ashley King of Wagoner, Raquell King, Tiffany King and Sofia King, all of Barbados; two nephews Chandler Anders of Hurst, Texas and Neidy Anders of Hurst, Texas; special friends Ronny and Brenda Blake, Jason Blake, Sandy Blake, Matt and Courtney Blake, Darrin and Kathy Pitman, Dale and Jolene Langwell, Harry and Dixie Shropshire and Lee Fout; numerous cousins, other relatives, and a host of many friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Genine Brown.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Hurt, Treyton Hurt, Ronny Blake, Jason Blake, Matt Blake, Darrin Pitman and Dave Anders.

Viewing is noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
