LeFlore County had 17 more coronavirus cases in Thursday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health.
In addition to the new cases, a Wister resident was reported to have died from coronavirus or complications from the virus.
Cases in Poteau continue to grow rapidly. The county seat had 10 new cases Thursday and has now had 59 new cases in the last week. Pocola had three new cases, Howe and Talihina each had two.
Active cases are 207, down from 218 Wednesday.
