Coronavirus cases continue to rise

LeFlore County had 13 new cases of coronavirus in Wednesday’s report by the Oklahoma Department of Health.

In Oklahoma, there were 13 deaths from coronavirus or complications from coronavirus, including a Poteau man in the 50-64 age group.

Poteau had six new cases, Pocola had three, Cameron, Howe, Shady Point and Spiro each had one.

The county currently has 204 active cases, up two from Tuesday. LeFlore County has had 1,191 cases, 969 recoveries and 18 deaths from coronavirus, or complications from the virus.
