Cascia Hall cruises past Heavener

Heavener’s Tony Adkins brings down Cascia Hall’s Baxter Robertson in Friday’s game

Heavener didn’t have many bright spots in its District 2A-5 opener with Cascia Hall Friday night.

The Wolves did get to honor their fall senior athletes, play at home instead of driving to Tulsa and David Moore made an interception for the Wolves deep in Commando territory early in the game.

Heavener came up empty after Moore’s interception and Cascia Hall was too much for the Wolves, winning 55-0, in a game that could have been even more lopsided.

Heavener is 1-3 overall, 0-1 in district play. The Wolves host Panama next week. Cascia Hall improves to 3-1 overall, 1-0 in the district and is home against Spiro next week.
