Pocola moves closer to repeat in LCT

POTEAU – Pocola moved into the championship game of the 2020 fast pitch softball LeFlore County Tournament and a repeat championship with a pair of wins Tuesday.
In the winner’s bracket finals, the Lady Indians got a 10-2 win over Howe to move into the championship game after the Lady Indians overcame Whitesboro 2-1 in a winner’s bracket semifinals that went nine innings.
Now, Pocola waits for the other teams to play elimination ball to see which team can make it through the loser’s bracket to the championship game Thursday at 8 p.m. at Poteau High School’s field at Town Creek Park.
