POTEAU – The top four seeds of the 2020 fast pitch softball LeFlore County Tournament advanced to the winner’s bracket semifinals Tuesday.
Top-seeded Whitesboro rallied to defeat Wister, 7-6; second-seeded Howe got past LeFlore, 3-1; third-seeded Poteau rallied to down Heavener, 4-3; and fourth-seeded Pocola defeated Panama, 8-3.
In the winner’s bracket semifinals at Poteau High School’s field at Town Creek Park, Poteau plays Howe at 4 p.m. with Whitesboro and Pocola taking the field at 6 p.m. The winners of those two games play in the winner’s bracket finals at 8:30 p.m.
