Four Heavener citizens died from coronavirus, according to the latest report from the Oklahoma Department of Health.
There were three females and one male, all in the 65 and older age group. This gives Heavener six deaths from the virus and the county 16.
There were 10 new cases in the county Friday with Cameron, Pocola and Poteau each having two while Heavener, Howe, Panama and Wister each had one.
Active cases are 127. Spiro has the most with 32 while Poteau has 28 and Heavener 19. The county has had 849 cases with 704 recoveries.
