Ola Lea Bruesch, 93, of Heavener, was born July 30, 1927 in Heavener to John and Myrtle (Queen) Azlin and passed away Sept. 6, 2020 in Heavener.
Graveside service is Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hontubby Cemetery with Bro. Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Ola was a long-time resident of the area and a retired administrator for Vista Nursing Home in Heavener. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Ola will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving family members are one son Shon Bruesch and wife Cynthia of Hontubby; one daughter, Vickie Smittle, of Hontubby; two sisters Lillie Nichols of Midwest City and Evonn Drake of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles “Dick” Bruesch; and one son, Randy Bruesch.
Viewing is Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
